Where to Find The Characters’ Ultimate Weapons in Final Fantasy

Cloud’s Ultimate Weapon can be found by after you kill the Ultima Weapon that flies around. It’s not dead when you kill it in Mideel. You must follow it around and beat it a few times before it finally flies near Cosmo Canyon to fight you once more. Then, it will fall down and die, causing a crater. You can now get the weapon.

Barrett’s Ultimate Weapon is found just before you fight Hojo on the Mako Cannon, but you have to have Barrett in your party for it to appear.

Aeris’ Ultimate Weapon is found way early in the game. It’s behind door number four in the Temple of the Ancients. Something to consider is leveling up Aeris early in the game because she is incredibly helpful after she gets to her fourth limit break and such (I know, I know. She’s the weakest character right now, but just think about trying it.)

Tifa’s Ultimate Weapon comes from the Bone Village mini-game. You need to dig up the Sector Five key and then go there and use it. Once there, use the broken item machine and you get her Godhand. I’m not sure if you have to talk to the guy that misplaced the key, but that’s how the key got all the way over to Bone Village. Some dude just lost it!

Yuffie’s Ultimate Weapon is in the downed Shinra Vessel that you find in the ocean

Red XIII’s Ultimate Weapon is obtained after you take Bugenhagen to the City of the Ancients. When you return to Cosmo Canyon to visit Bugenhagen, he’ll give Red XII the weapon.

Cid’s Ultimate Weapon is right in his own town. After the rocket is launched, go talk to the guy in front of the item shop a bunch of times until you get it. (Yeah, just badger the guy until he gives it to you. That’s always fun.)

Cait Sith’s Ultimate Weapon is in Midgar when you go back to it. Go to Shinra Tower and head to the 64th Floor. Search the lockers and you’ll get it.

And finally, Vincent’s Ultimate Weapon is only found when he is in your party because it triggers a cutscene. Once you get either a gold chocobo or the submarine, find the area that has a cave behind a waterfall in the middle of the continent. Enter the cave and you will find where Lucrecia is nowadays and, after you see the scene, you get the weapon.
