Getting Anima as Your Own Aeon in Final Fantasy X
Anima’s one awesome-looking monster, isn’t he?? Well, what would you do if I told you were just ever so close to him right when you started playing the game?
THAT’S UNBELIEVABLE!
Not quite, my friend. Remember where you first ended up when you were “transported” to Spira? Well, that’s exactly where he’s located. Right in the wreckage of the Baaj Temple. First, though, you need to obtain the secret item in each of the Aeon Temples’ Cloister of Trials. Then, once you’ve done this, get the secret item within the Dome at Zanarkand. That makes up the six items necessary to continue with this. Now, head back to the Baaj Temple on your airship and kill that big, bad water baddy that you ran away from during your first visit to this place. Next, swim underwater toward the temple entrance. If you’ve gotten all six items, the six statues/pillar things should let you into the Chamber of the Fayth and you can receive the aeon from none other than Seymour’s deceased mother. (How come she’s so nice and he’s such a jerk??)
Anima’s really cool to have, except, he froze up PS2 on many occasions. But I had one of the buggy systems, anyway. It’s still way worth the effort just to be able to use the thing.
